One of the criticisms that sometimes gets leveled at oneness Pentecostals is the accusation that the doctrines that we teach,

specifically baptism in Jesus' name, the necessity of the infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of

speaking in tongues, and the oneness of God, that those didn't exist prior to the early 20th century.

Some critics have argued, have said that one is Pentecostalism as a modern invention, and

depending on who the critic is, they might add that,

you know, we've got some recycled heresy thrown in there. You certainly have heard this accusation

many times. How do you respond to that? Is there any evidence for oneness Pentecostal doctrine
