Hey, the folks, it is Saturday, June 27th, and yes, parenting sometimes means you have to punish.

But when does that cross over into abuse?

Well, maybe when you post the punishment online for the world to see. And that is what

has a former NFL pro bowler, the center of everybody's attention right now with that. Welcome

to this episode of Amy and T.J. Rose, there's kind of two steps here with this. One,

you can just question the punishment itself, and then the other hand,

you question posting it. Correct. So it's about whether or not the discipline fits the crime,

so people are weighing in on that. But a lot of folks, I feel like there's a general consensus

that regardless of the answer to the aforementioned question, it's probably never

okay to then put that punishment on your social media page when you have hundreds of

thousands of followers because it serves as an additional public humiliation.

Is there any upside?

You know, I didn't think about asking this question. Is that, can that be part of the punishment?

Yes. I mean, public shaming, look, there are different, look, I have heard you and I both had old school punishment coming up. We both got spanked until a certain age, and that was just the way it was. Obviously,

that's not how people operate now, but it's one of those things where there's a fine line

between doing something privately and then taking whatever punishment you've given your child

and making it publicly known. I know one of my friends told me

her punishment was that she had to wear the same outfit to school all week. Basically,

form of, I know, right? But as a girl in middle school, that is humiliation. That's a form of

public shame. To me, just personally speaking, I'm all about teaching a child a lesson. I do
