But we begin today with a report by the Athletics Jim Bowden on CBS Sports

that the Mets have contacted the Angels about the availability of

Shohei O'Connie. O'Connie hit a home run last night against Kansas City his

21st of the season. The Angels have said they have no interest in trading

O'Connie. Wilbond should they? No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, I know they don't

win anything. They don't get to the playoffs even. They seem like they're

wasting the careers of drought. Yeah, that's right. And now drought and O'Connie.

Yeah, but I mean that's right. So in baseball the way to get better is to first

get rid of all the assets you have and the people that folks would actually pay
