Suddenly, there's a lot of herd immunity talk again in the headlines.

It kind of went away.

Natural immunity, great-barrington declaration in October.

They kind of put that aside and did a lot of attacking on that.

But now, since the vaccines are being rolled out, we're seeing this again.

And we're seeing, let's look at a tweet.

This was Dr. Marty McCary.

And he is a surgical professor at Johns Hopkins University.

He's also a health expert in public policy.

And he says he's encouraged to see a 55% decrease in daily coronavirus cases over the last month.

Now, remember, the WHO attempted to redefine herd immunity over the last six months or so,

saying that you can only really achieve it through a vaccine.

They tried to remove the idea of getting herd immunity through natural infection.

So let's take a look at Dr. McCary here on Fox and Friends.

This was a recent clip of him. It's pretty interesting.

So Dr. Gandhi, quick question for you here.

When are we going to hit herd immunity?

And have we considered the number of people previously infected?

I mean, if the trackers are saying, say, the Johns Hopkins tracker today is about 24 million confirmed cases,

cumulatively nationwide, we've been diagnosing what?

One in four to one in 10 cases during the history of the pandemic in the US.

Is that about right?
