So this is an exciting pre- Thanksgiving time.

It's a really busy time for all the movies trying to get themselves

in front of people who will vote on awards,

which ranges from critics to S members to eventually academy members.

So there's a lot to catch up on and I wanted to start with, I think, one of my favorite traditions

of award season that I didn't get to participate in this year, which I get very jealous of,

which is where some movie that's been hiding itself until the last minute reveals itself.

And in this case, on Sunday night, the post of the movie by Stephen Spielberg a virtually simultaneous screenings in New York and

Los Angeles. And as we record this, it's still embargoed, so we can't actually tell you

whether or not it's any good. But Richard, you were in the room, and I think we're

going to try to talk around the

embargo as much as possible to just kind of reflect on what happened when Spielberg

finally showed his cards.
