Well, it's very late on a Saturday night. Our church group meets on Saturday nights, and

everyone's gone home. We've all had dinner. And I'm now sitting at the podcast table here,

getting ready to try to record podcast 105.

Tomorrow is Father's Day, 2009, and I think I'll probably be tied up a little bit,

so I thought, let me try to post this podcast tonight, if I can.

I'll least record it tonight.

We'll try to post it either tomorrow or Monday morning, as usual.

But I am just tired from a long day, a very productive day, but I've got a topic I want to talk about with you tonight that I think is very important, and it's going to take a little while to do it, but I think it's going to be worth the listen. I think we're going to want to spend some time examining this issue, and I'll tell you why in a Before we get there, though let me just say a couple of things number one I sent out a request an

email to some of you who are on Facebook with me and are part of our cause

page and I thought you know I I've had a cause page for some time now and

when I first started in Facebook I wasn't really sure how to really put

please convince me on Facebook and the cause seemed like it was the way to do it. I wasn't even aware they had a group or a fan page or anything like that. So I started as a cause page and quickly realized that people are going to want to try to give to this cause. And we're not that kind of a charity. We aren't looking for any. This is a principle that's very important to me as an atheist.

I was always suspicious that Christians really just wanted my money. So I've committed doing this

kind of work, I would never take money from people who are not part of my close circle of advisors.

I just didn't want to have people funding the project because I wanted it to be as cost-free as possible so that that motivation would be removed from any of the work that we did here at please convince me and the cause page at Facebook has a place where you can donate and sure enough people started donating and I'd always tell people don't please don't do that. Thank you so much. I appreciate your sentiment, but we can do it on our own.

And I really want to leave it that way.
