Lots of fun stuff going on in the world of Cardinal Athletics.

We're back after a biweek where it was probably good that we took the week off

because we would have said the same things that I think everybody else was saying

after Louisville's heartbreaking loss to Virginia a couple of Saturdays ago.

But we're back.

We're 24 hours away just about from kickoff between Louisville and Miami.

Huge spot for the cars as they take on the number two team in the country with an opportunity

to pull off what is statistically one of the,

would be one of the biggest upsets in the history of the program.

We've also got, I mean, look, it's a glorious time of the year.

I know that people are a little bit down on the football team, but still we're about to

enter into that month stretch or month and a half stretch where basketball and football

are coexisting.

We've got volleyball getting ready to chase another national title in December.

We've got men's basketball having media day yesterday, just eight days away from tip

off between the cards and Kansas and exhibition play.

And hopefully we're primed for a fantastic winner that will end with U of L's first deep run in March Madness in far, far too long.

It's all out there for the taking.

We're excited about it.
