Summary

Keir Starmer announced a u-turn on winter fuel payments in the face of growing backbench discontent this week. There’s also speculation more than 100 Labour MPs will rebel against benefit cuts. 0:22.0	together is the degree to which both the so-called main parties, perhaps that's the wrong

0:48.6	criticisms were raised about his use of language in relation to immigration. And of course there's the ongoing
0:57.2	stuff about the winter fuel cut. And in the Tory party, they are in fourth place in some opinion
1:04.5	polls below the Liberal Democrats. And inevitably when that happens, MPs stir, but will they do more than stir?
1:13.6	So we're going to explore that and sort of look at other significant revolts.
1:18.7	Let's begin with the government party.
1:21.5	It seems to me, Miranda, that one way in which the government is going to address the discontent amongst MPs following those local elections and the by-election is they're going to do something about winter fuel.
