Yeah, hello and welcome everybody to the latest edition of The View from the Lane.

I'm its presenter, Danny Kelly, with me from The Athletic today, James Moore and Jack Pitt Brook.

Deep breath, everybody, after Paris Saint-Germann.

I genuinely can't think, I mean, it's following Spurs at the moment.

It's a continuation of the sort of runaway kaleidoscope of things that can possibly

happen to a football team in an individual match, even in sections of an individual match.

But I genuinely think, I can't remember a game since I started doing this with you,

you chaps, which could be analysed in so many different ways.

The emotional spectrum available to this game is so wide.

You could have thought it was great. You could have thought it was great.

You could have thought it was just an absolutely more bull

or anything in between.

Where do you stand, James?

In many ways that hasn't changed the way I feel about this team

or the direction of travel at all,

despite it being incredibly different

to pretty much any of the

games you've seen before. There were a lot of positives to take from that, I'd say. And I guess

if you want to cling to those, then fair enough, I think that's reasonable. But the way the team

kind of capitulated in a, what, 20, 25 minutes sped in the second half when they conceded pretty much all of the goals.
