this week on nerd cast we're talking about Biden Inc over his decades in office the former vice president or

middle class Joe as he calls himself his family fortunes have closely tracked his

political career so we're devoting today's show to Politico's

investigations of the Biden family's finances. Okay let's get started. Here

Biden Inc and we're here to talk about the process and what the story said and

what he learned while he was doing it and just generally

talk about Biden and his family which is I feel like hasn't really been explored

that much until recently. Yeah we've been seeing some headlines about Hunter the last few months and people know about

Valerie Biden, his sister, who's a bit confident of his.

But there are more Biden's and they're all interesting.

First, before we get into that, I want to talk a little bit about this week there was a

Quinnipieck poll on the presidential contest that was, I think, pretty interesting for what

it said about Joe Biden's durability.

You know, he's taken a lot of Knox, your piece being one of them, but he had a pretty rocky first

debate and then last week's debate was a little better, but I don't think anyone would say that he knocked it out of the park exactly

But still his poll numbers are hanging in there. There's a lot of people in the political chattering class who had assumed that the bottom would fall out for Biden.

That given his history as a candidate candidate he's not historically done well in these

presidential races which is why he was a vice president and you know he seems

just like he's lost a step sometimes. So a lot of people in our world assumed that his
