In the New Testament, Jesus is referred to as Lord over 700 times.

But even though that term is used so frequently in Scripture, do we truly understand the

impact of that name?

Father, thank you for your presence here with us.

Such an honor to be in your presence.

Give us faith even in this prayer right now.

God, as we ask for your grace, help us as we open up your sacred Word.

Help us to respond to your Word in a way that honors you.

God, help us treat these words with honor.

Help us value them as precious, as holy.

It's just so good to come into the presence of God with everyone and to join the angels

in heaven with reverence and awe and just present the sacrifice to the Lord.

I was praying because I was thinking about that passage in Hebrews 4 where it says that

that He can sympathize with our weaknesses.
