What do we call an obsessively self-centered person? An egomaniac. Then what should we call God, who demands all our praise? We call him gracious.

0:38.0	So that's why I'm looking at this text with you.
0:42.0	This is Matthew 10, 37, following.
0:45.0	Whoever loves Father or Mother more than me, this is Jesus talking.
0:50.0	Whoever loves Father or Mother more than me is not worthy of me.
0:56.0	Whoever loves Son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
1:01.0	And whoever does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
1:07.0	Whoever finds his life will lose it and whoever loses his life from my
1:13.0	mistake will find it.
1:16.0	Let's pray.
1:18.0	So Father, I pray that everyone in this room will feel the force of the criticism of
1:28.0	Jesus.
1:29.0	You're an Ego Maniac.
1:33.0	And we'll find in the text, in the scriptures, in this message that he's not.
