Specifically with the quarterback, we're going to talk a little bit more about Stefan Gilmore as well.

And I'm really excited to bring in Darius Butler as this week's next Pat's guest. Nobody better in

the media space when it comes to talking defensive backs. He studies them all, the former Patriots

corner, former Colts corner as well. He's going to tell us if Stefan Gilmore can still play

in his mind after watching him in

2020 and what he knows about Gilmore now in terms of his age and where he's at coming back

from an injury.

He's also going to tell you a little bit about J.C. Jackson.

And that's where I want to start this week's podcast is giving you a little bit more insight

into things that I have heard about both J.C. Jackson and

Stefan Gilmore before we bring Darius Butler in. I've talked to some people late last week

after the Stefan Gilmore trade, NFL executives that basically indicated to me, J.C. Jackson

is set up to get paid. When it comes to numbers, buckle in.

Because what I was told was the Byron Jones deal, which is up over $16 million per year,

or the Tradavius White deal, which is up over $17 million per year when you're talking

average annual value.

That's the ballpark for J.C. Jackson as it stands right now.

Now, of course, there's a lot of time between now and the end of this season when J.C. Jackson

is scheduled to hit unrestricted free agency.
