Well, hello there, Lewis Goodall, seeing in for the great James O'Brien here on LBC, all this week from 10 till 1.

And I've got some bad news for some of you, and I've doubtless

know that this will not be the way that you want to start your February. I know that this will

not be the sort of thing that perhaps, particularly in this slot of all slots, people want to hear,

but I think it is important to do so, and that is this. It has finally happened, as I was saying there, just before the news.

We knew it probably was going to happen, that there was going to be a crossover point,

and I'm going to caveat everything I say today on the basis, of course, this is just one poll.

But this is a poll, which is the gold standard of polling, which is a U-Gov poll. You might have seen, particularly if you're on the dark recesses of the unfortunate sewer that is ex-Twitter these days.

Lots of little fake polls or polls that are done by, you know, very disreputable or certainly without much credibility polling companies and so on.

A U-Gov poll published yesterday evening, which shows that for the

first time, reform, led of course by Nigel Farage, is now topping a national poll in Britain for a

Westminster voting intention. It's very, very, very unusual. 25%, Labour 24%, Tories on 21%.
