I, uh, I wonder if it's time to let go.

I have a friend. We've been friends of a friend.

And I'll tell you why.

We've been friends since 1967.

In the last 20 years, we haven't been close because I moved out of state.

But we always talked on the phone and saw each other. Well, about 20 years ago, she turned into a raging alcoholic and tried to hide it and would tell all kinds of lies about like what had happened to her.

Instead of admitting that she blacked out at the storage unit, she said someone followed her in and attacked her.

So she believes all these things. And but anyway, fast forward to 2015.

She in an alcoholic pays fell hit her head on her countertop at her house and got a brain injury.

And she was sent to a rehab facility. And I got to see her.

Shortly after it happened in May of 2015, I got to see her and she didn't really know who I was, which was weird.

And she was there to get rehabbed. Well, through her boyfriend, I was being kept up with what was going on. Well, she was there for several years and never made any improvement.

So they put her in a nursing home.

And I have talked to her.

Off and on on the phone. Haven't seen her since 2015.

But when I talked to her, she knows who I am.

But the words are words out. I mean, she she just says things that that make no sense. Like I'll ask, how are you doing? What have you been doing? Well, I've been doing this.
