We are back with another Tuesday takeaway show for you.

And these episodes, they always have a different feel to them each week, depending what's on my mind.

Last week, we went over a ton of players who you could cut from your roster at this point already.

This week, I want to discuss some of the stars that you might be worried about.

0:34.1

And I get a lot of questions asking me about certain players.

I mean, it's often the same names every single time, guys who were drafted high, who are underperforming in the opening weeks. And in some cases, there's a reason for it and I'm not concerned about them. In other spots, we're kind of pulling our hair out and it's a full-blown panic and it doesn't actually look like they are going to turn it around. So on today's show, I'm pulling out the panic meter. We did this last year, too, so we're going to go one to 10, one being not worried at all, 10 being there's warning signs, there's sirens, it's serious business that you got to deal with. Because after three games, I mean, we have enough data now that we can make some real conclusions on what we're seeing.

So I'm going to talk about 11 players who are off to slow starts. And I'm going to go over how concerned I think you should be about them moving forward. And let's start with quarterbacks. And the first one's Joe Burrow. And it's probably not Burrough's fault here. I mean, there's a lot of questions about that calf injury before the season and whether he was milking it during the preseason because of his contract situation. I think it's

1:32.6

clear that that wasn't the case. This is a legit problem. And it's probably one that he should

1:37.6

have sat out week one, week two. He should have taken some time early in the season like Jamar

1:42.0

Chase had mentioned during the summer that he wanted him to do. But he didn't. He ended up playing and eventually he aggravated that calf

strain and now he's hobbled. We saw it on Monday night. He's not the same player. They were

running that quick hit, kind of get the ball out of his hands offense and that's going to be

1:58.7

a problem for fantasy. Plus, he's also at risk of suffering a more

2:02.4

serious injury if that knocks him out for longer so this isn't one that's so much about his play

2:07.7

it's really not about his play at all it's totally injury based but it's still a nine on the panic

meter because we're not going to see big stats from Burrow until he gets healthier. And maybe he gets

there in a few weeks if he can avoid making it worse in the meantime. But he is a very risky fantasy

play, even in a great matchup against the Titans in week four, where he would normally be a top

five option. You have to look at him more as a fringe QB1, might even be more of a high end

QB2. and I just don't

think there's much you can do about it like his trade value is down in the dumps he hasn't had a
