But we were so struck, us in the production team, was so struck by the fact that one question

kept coming up again and again and again from so many of you. And this is it.

Hi, my name's Chris. I'm in Northern Ireland. I'm a big fan of the show. Given what's

been happening on Twitter since Elon Musk bought it, for each of you, what would be the line

and the sand that Musk could break that would make you delete

your Twitter accounts? Thanks. Chris, you hit on something that has been playing in all our minds.

So today, we're going to try to address that. What is the line? Is it worth still being on

Twitter or X? Has it gone too far? Are we wading too deep now in the most appalling effluence? Welcome to the newsagents.

The newsagents. It's John. It's Lewis. And the whole question of Twitter has been rattling around our heads and something we've been

vaguely discussing in the office.

And as Lewis said in the intro, we were just completely struck by just how many people

were thinking the same thing.

And so it is right to address the whole question.

We're going to do the Q&A tomorrow, by the way, but we just we thought this is such a big

topic in the media right now that it's worth a proper discussion. And if you just take the last

two or three weeks, Elon Musk using Twitter to say that civil war is inevitable.
