We are not okay. America is not okay. And we all know that. Former Congressman Joe Walsh, this is the social contract with Joe Walsh. Let's figure out how to get okay together. Now suppose the question is, do we want to even live with people we disagree with?

Maybe that's what it's come down to.

Can we even tolerate being around people we disagree with?

We just don't want to do it anymore.

Don't want to live with, don't want to deal with.

Certainly don't want to have a conversation with people whose views we vehemently disagree with, find abhorrent, find utterly appalling, find just plain

wrong.

Do we? utterly appalling find just plain wrong do we even want to live with or deal with people like that anymore has as have we gotten to that point in this dangerously divided

at each other's throats country that we're living in right now?

Is this the end game? Is this the end of the line is this the end of the road

the end of the journey are we so firmly planted on this road of hating the people we disagree with that there's just no way back.

We as a country, as a society, just can't get off of that road even though many of us know

that the ultimate destination on that road of hate is political violence.

Like when you hate the people you disagree with,

when you consider the people you disagree with to be your enemy,

like we've, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we,

people we disagree with. Well, when you dehumanize those you disagree with, it's

really easy, isn't it? To commit acts of political violence against those you

disagree with? And it's not at all a surprise that we've seen a huge uptick rise in political

violence the last number of years. from both sides an uptick of political violence on

the left still the the majority of the political violence in this country is coming from the right

but the last few years major uptick on the left is, is, is this where we are?
