On the one side is Michael Mann, a leading climate scientist whose hockey stick graft propelled

an anti-fossil fuel movement.

On the other side is Mark Stein, a writer and free speech campaigner. Stein has denounced the hockystick graph as a scientific fraud.

This climate change trial will determine if it's okay to accuse a scientist of fraud and if free speech still exists in America.
