Summary

Parasites can stall fat loss, steal nutrients, and fuel inflammation even when you eat clean. In this episode I’m covering symptoms to watch, blood markers like eosinophils and CRP, and a practical three phase cleanse that pairs food, binders, and peptides for lasting relief.

Hello, welcome. My name is Leanne. I'm so glad that we get to hang out today to talk about one of my root cause favorite reasons for why people are imbalanced and feeling like hot death, and that is parasites. I have a personal experience with parasites. In fact, a really dangerous parasite that nobody ever wants. And it's called

0:22.9

Intamibah histolytica. And I was diagnosed with Intimiba histolitica. Right around 2019,

0:29.2

2020-ish, totally rocked my world in the worst way possible. This specific parasite basically eats

0:35.5

up your liver until you die. It's not a good look for the liver.

0:39.2

It definitely doesn't feel good. But a lot of the times people aren't having these pathogenic

0:43.7

parasites, although Gardia is a very common parasite that I see contributing to a significant

0:49.9

amount of inflammation in people. But oftentimes these issues are going to range from like

0:55.4

relentless bloating to iron deficiency, brain fog, other anemia, stalled fat loss. And so a lot of

1:03.1

people think, like, I just need to eat less or exercise more or, you know, take iron pills,

1:09.4

but it's like not the solution. In fact, I do a significant

1:13.4

amount of parasite work in my practice. It's really step number two or three in a proper order

1:19.5

of operations, depending on the individual, obviously starting with redox and mitochondrial

1:24.6

support, mineral support, getting the body online, then doing drainage

1:28.6

pathway work. And then parasites are the first one. And so because of this, what oftentimes

1:34.3

happens, the flow of my practice is that I will start individuals on blood work, we'll

1:39.8

understand what the body needs, and then we'll oftentimes shift to a GI map. I love the GI map

1:45.8

from Diagnostic Solutions and I talk about it so much on the episode. If you want to totally

1:50.3

nerd out with me, there are many episodes that I've done on this, both as being a fly on the wall

1:55.6

in episodes where I share audio recordings that I send to my clients to a deep dive and what these tests

2:02.5

are saying and how to understand them. And parasites play a huge role in the GI map function.

2:08.9

However, it is very, very challenging to catch parasites on a test. And that's why I use

2:14.8

indirect markers for this so I can fully understand what's going on.
