Summary

In today’s episode, I sit down Kamie Crawford, co-host of MTV’s Catfish and host of Relationsh*t podcast. We discuss her break up, how she healed from ending her relationship of 5 years, all the girls we made friends with when going out, how Catfish actually works , what she's learned from being the host of Catfish, why we all try to be people we're not sometimes, examples of wifey duties, and more! This episode starts with a solo where I dis- cuss the Will Smith incident, CBT therapy and why it’s helpful in emotional scenarios, the indi- an/jewish wedding I attended, and how to act when you’re feeling disconnected from friends.

0:23.1

came to support. Before we get into the episode with Cammy, which was such a fun episode,

0:29.4

she is a delight. There's no surprise why she has so many fans. She was so fun to talk to and I

0:37.6

had a really great time on her podcast too. We actually had another episode slated for this week,

0:43.8

but I decided to release Cammy's one because that other episode was way outdated and it was

0:49.4

with divorce lawyers that we recorded before I got married and I feel like we need a re-record on

0:53.8

that one, which we're gonna get to, but two because Cammy is so amazing. So I know you're gonna let

the episode today. Before we get into that, just gonna talk about a little some current events

1:04.8

and then some things that you wanted me to go over and then we'll get right into the episode.

1:10.5

So yeah, the Will Smith and Chris Rock situation. I mean, I'm not like a pop cultureist. Is that

1:19.7

a word? I don't know, but I definitely wanted to share a few thoughts on this because I did relate

1:25.6

a little bit to just like flying off the handle. I've never slapped anyone other than like my sister,

1:32.8

but you know how sisters get. But what I do know is that part of the reason or something I've

1:38.0

experienced is part of the reason I went to therapy to CBT therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy,

1:44.1

years ago is because I'm not and now now I'm better at it, but I was just not in control of my

1:50.9

actions and reactions. And that type of therapy helps you to control your emotions a little bit

1:58.6

better. And I needed that. I really did. And when I came in, I like to think that I'm very fair

2:05.2

and balanced as a Libra. Sorry in advance because we talk about Libra Ness a lot in this episode,

2:10.3

but I like to think I'm fair and balanced. And so my initial thought in reacting to something is
