Kids, I know you usually ask the questions on this podcast, but do you want to help us answer

one?

We're working on an episode about how our brains learn to read.

We're talking to a brain scientist for that part, but we want you to tell us what's so

great about reading, or to offer tips for other kids about learning to read.

Especially if learning to read has been hard for you, we want to know what you think might

help other kids who are struggling.

So you can do either one.

Tell us what you like about reading, or give us some tips.

Have an adult record your answer.

It's easy to do on a smartphone using a voice recording app.

Be sure to include your first name, where you live, and how old you are.

Have your adult help you keep your answer short, like a minute or less.

Adults send the audio file to questions at butwhykids.org by July 15th.
