Hello, empaths.

Today we're going to talk about something we get quite a bit of emails about,

how to tell the difference between a sign and a coincidence.

Recently, we had a listener write in about how she and her partner received signs that they would soon be pregnant,

but it never came to pass. Do you remember that one? I do, yes. And all signs pointed to yes. About a year ago, we had a listener

write in that she had asked for and received several signs that she should leave her job,

but that change didn't really work out as she hoped.

So it's just left us wondering what's happening here.

Could it be that sometimes we misread a sign, or could it be that we're supposed to follow

the sign because the disappointing conclusion is a lesson we need to learn?

Honestly, I'm not sure I know the answer to these questions because I do think it's unique to everyone,

but what we hope to accomplish today is to give an overview of what a sign is and what it's not

so that we can be better informed and prepared when we are asking our guides for signs.

And we've brought this topic up quite a few times over the years, but I think it's one that, for

myself anyway, I think I revisit because I used to look at it with more rigidity than I do now.

It used to be, oh, if I ask and I don't get it, that's the only way to look at it. And I think there's more play to it than that. And you just made a really good point that it's not a one-size-fits-all. No, it's really not. And it can be confusing because of our brain. So I got to bring in some sciencey stuff here.
