very disappointed very sad very frustrated and it's a little bit of everything you know on last

night you have an issue in center field and i know jeff mcneal's played out there a little bit not a lot

and a couple of misreads couple bad throw or bad throw or two and the next thing you know the

phillies take the lead and the thing about it is is that you know i think we get like three center

fielders on the roster and we're playing jeff McNeil and center field. And I understand it's it's about the batting order. It's about trying to generate offense and trying to get the best, you know, the best situation there because that has actually been a black hole out there when comes to offense. I understand what Carlos Mendoz is trying to do.

I'm not, I don't want to, you know, kill him for putting McNeil out there.

What I'm trying to point out is that because of where they are, how they've played the last 10 days,

and especially the last six games, and the fact that they got swept by Philadelphia,

he's trying to do anything he can and they are trying to do anything they can to drum up

as much offense as they possibly can.

And, you know, it worked in the first inning.

But then all of a sudden, late in the game, now defensive problems show up.

You have another starting pitcher.

This time it was Peterson, couldn't make it through five endings or made it through

five innings and gave up three runs.

But you wonder if their bullpen has now been also under siege.

And when you're not playing well defensively, you're not pitching well, your starting

pitching can't get through five or only can get through five innings.

You're going to put an unbelievable amount of pressure on your bullpen.

And it's a confluence of everything coming together at the wrong time, going the wrong way.

And that is the frustrating and sad part of it because most of us, I think,

really like the players, especially after what they did last year and how, you know, they were,
