It's Thursday, August 21st, 2014. From slate, it's the gist I'm Mike Pasca. We go now

to South Africa, a rockest scene in the parliament. There are members of the EFF party, easy to

tell who is EFF, the economic freedom fighters, because they all wear red jump suits.

Why are we getting thrown out? That money and that money must be paid. We will

can't hide behind the principles. Actually, I think the color might be closer to

Ameranth. That's what I found when I looked it up. But here's what's going on in the scene.

The president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, he is no stranger to the charge and I'll say it's

the documentation of corruption. He used some public funds to upgrade his home and the EFF

is led by a guy named Julius Malima, who's once a protégé of Zuma. He's now a radical defector

from Zuma's party and he was asking the president, it was question time. He was asking the president

about the funds. So the question we're asking today and we're not going to live here before we

get an answer. When are you paying the money? And from there it was all sit down and be quiet.

No, we will not sit down and then red jump suit clad members. And let me also say one was

wearing what looked like a red varsity letterman's jacket and a lot of them had berets. But they

start banging their red hard hats. Oh yeah, did I mention they wear hard hats to Congress with

their overalls. EFF has about 6% of the seats in the assembly. They shut the whole thing down
