This is LBC from Global, leading Britain's conversation with James O'Brien.

Good morning. It's four minutes after ten. I hope you're all right. I hope you're coping with the pressures and the stresses that this

0:21.1

continuing lockdown and the broader COVID-19 crisis continues to inflict upon many, although not,

0:27.5

I think, all of us. The question that we're going to draw attention to first today is one that

0:33.2

has assumed quite a clamorous status over the last few days. And I don't think at this point,

1:34.9

I think that the health minister, Nadine Dorries, has suggested there'd be no vaccine for 18 months

1:42.0

and therefore we can't come out of lockdown in the purest sense of the idea until that vaccine has been achieved.

1:52.3

Nadine Doris, of course, had an unpleasant dose of COVID-19.

1:56.4

It doesn't give her any more insights into the political questions and the economic questions,

2:02.3

but I think it means that we should at least listen to her, even if you'd normally be

2:06.6

minded not to.

The Daily Mail today on its comment pages asks the question, what's the plan for a return
