clarifications, greater understanding on what oneness Pentecostals believe, specifically about

the oneness of God. And today I want to ask you a question that is along those lines. I want to ask you about what onus Pentecostals believe about the oneness of God. And today I want to ask you a question that is along those

the Gospels between the Father and the Son. In your book, the Oneness of God, you wrote, I'm quoting,

you said, although we do not believe that the Father is the Son, we do believe that the Father is in the Son. And you cite John 1410,

where Jesus asks His disciples, do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me?

The words that I speak to you, I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells

in me does the works. So can you explain for us this relationship between the Father and the Son that we see in the New Testament,

particularly in the Gospels?

Yes, this is absolutely crucial to understanding the doctrine of God, the doctrine of Christ,

and therefore to accurately understand and express the oneness concept.

Even oneness people sometimes don't fully grasp this,

and certainly people who are not oneness,

they commonly misunderstand this.

So we start as oneness people believing there's absolutely one God,

Deuteronomy 6.4.

So we're not open to the idea that there are multiple persons in an abstract Godhead.

Rather, God is a personal being who is revealed in Jesus Christ.

So we don't understand that there could be three centers of consciousness or three persons of God,

but there's one personal God. So from that point, some people just say, well, you just say
