Yeah, sometimes in our dark moments, we feel that no one's listening.

And to be quite honest, sometimes I wonder, is God listening as a man of faith?

Because this word has really impacted everything.

I still believe.

I still believe in the God of Justice.

But it's so strange.

And I don't know how to think honestly about that sermon, for example, or everything we've done as Palestinian Christians in the last two years.

who's a Palestinian theologian, who serves as pastor of the evangelical Lutheran Church of

Hope in Ramallah in Palestine. He's also the director of the Bethlehem Institute for Peace

and Justice and the director of the highly acclaimed Christ at the Checkpoint conferences.

Mundur came to global fame after he delivered his famous Christ in the Rubble,

December 2023 sermon, that noted while the Gaza genocide was unfolding that the world was watching.

Here we are in 2025 and the world is still watching as the Gaza genocide continues

to unfold. Since that famous sermon, Munda has published a series of interviews and articles

and books, the most recent of which is a book by the title Christ in the rubble, Faith, the Bible, and the Genocide in Gaza,

published by Erdemans, publishers in 2025, which will link in the show description below.

I guess our first question inevitably is, given the fact that you're in Palestine in this moment of genocide, is how are you as a Palestinian and how are you as a Palestinian Christian?
