Dear Katie was on for so long and lasted through the whole last hour and then disappeared.

Maybe she had some place to go, but I think her question is a good one and I still have it here so I'm going to offer a response

Katie sorry I missed you but the question that Katie had is if God is everywhere, wouldn't he also be in hell?

But wouldn't that negate the idea that hell is a separation from God.

And I get it, I get the concern there, all right?

So let me talk about two separate things. One is the omnipresence of God, and the other one is the notion of separation from God,

okay?

What the omnipresence of God teaches is that God is personally,

let me back up, put it this way God's awareness is present everywhere.

Okay, so I'm actually in a booth right now broadcasting, okay? I am I am in my seat here, but just, you know, four feet away of the corner of the room I my awareness extends to the edge of this room

actually my awareness extends further because I aware of Amy through the glass and the

bearded beast working the boards and different things going on so the is more contained or restrained than my awareness of things.

And so what the scriptures teach is that you cannot run from God.

There is no place where his, he has not permeated with his awareness.

He's everywhere, okay?

Now, I don't think that means that his being

fills up every space because then his being would be

coterminous with the creation and that's that's actually a different view that's

called either pantheism or panentheism and that's not our view
