Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we

devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

Good morning, you guys.

We are picking back up with our live on purpose devotional and we're just going to go and

jump on in.

Yes, y'all.

Let's do it.

The devotional is called The Proof It and the verse is Judges 617 and it says,

Gideon replied, if you are truly going to help me, show me a sign to prove that it is

really the Lord speaking to me.

When faced with a calling from God, some people run away.

Others look God in the eye, figure it to fully speaking of course and say, prove it.

Gideon did that and Judges 6, when the angel of the Lord said, Gideon would lead Israel

to victory over the Minonites.

He was hiding from the Minonites in a wine press so he could thresh his wheat.

Not exactly a mighty warrior.

Maybe that's why God was patient when Gideon asked for not only one, but two signs to prove

this calling.

First, Gideon laid out a fleece and said to God, in the morning, make the fleece wet

would do and the ground around it dry.

So God did.

Next, Gideon said, okay, make the fleece dry and the ground around it wet would do.
