I really find comfort in knowing that pain does not mean God hates you, because if he could do so to his most beloved, then who am I to say, well, God, you don't love me because you're breaking my heart? Who am I to tell around and say, your plan is incorrect? There's a line from like a poem and it says, the knowledge of Allah has helped me to not ask too many questions.
