I have a John Carlos Stanton take that I want to get Tiki's opinion on because Stanton, you saw it again last night, he is red hot.

I would say regular season-wise, this is about as hot as he's ever been as a Yankee.

Right, and it's awesome because he's not playing regularly per se.

He's not an everyday type player, but whenever you call on him, he hits the ball

103 miles an hour over the fence. It's kind of awesome that he can just turn it on. Like he's the

light switcher, flicker. Light switch flicker. He can turn it on whatever he wants to, and not a lot of

players can say that. Stanton has, I believe, two years left on his deal and then a club option.

So you figure two or three more years with the Yankees.

He is, I believe, five homers short of 450.

Even if he has the Stanton sabbatical type seasons, which we all expect, where he goes on

summer vacation like the rest of us,

and he hits 25 home runs a year.

He's going to hit 500 home runs.

No doubt.

If he hits 500 home runs, he's going to the Hall of Fame.

So my take is this.

John Carlos Stanton is the most impactful, underrated, and underappreciated Yankee over the last eight years.

What?

Hold on.

Let me think about this.

Impactful?

Well, all of those combined, but not individually.
