First up today, let's go to a voicemail from one of our listeners named Travis.

Will that be sent against the Lord perpetually if I marry an unbeliever?

I know that we're not to be unequally yoked.

Thank you so much for all that you guys do.

Travis, thank you for that question.

And it sounds to me like this is maybe a very practical question

for you. Potentially, you're considering marrying someone who is not a believer, not a Christian.

And so you're wondering, well, does that mean I'm going to be cut off forever from, you know, the grace of God?

Look, the first thing I would say is, yes, you're absolutely right that we're not to be unequally

yoked.

And this is certainly a situation in which that's relevant.

I mean, you think about what Paul says in 2 Corinthians chapter 6, verse 14, the words

of the Apostle Paul do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness or what fellowship has light with darkness?

What accord has Christ with Belial or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?
