for Vox. To start, it's important to say that trauma is real and PTSD is a real

diagnosable disorder. But with that said, there's a huge appetite for trauma right now.

There's this one book called The Body Keeps the Score, and it isn't light reading. It's a very

serious book that discusses horrific traumatic events in great detail and argues essentially

that trauma can change brain and bodily functions. And so a lot of people still think that trauma

is something that's happiest to you. That's a story about a past. So, it's really a trauma,
