not everyone.

Not everyone is a narcissist, which is hard to believe, given how often we hear the word throwing around. But important stuff to talk about here, Carla, welcome to seeing other people. Thank you. It was great to be here. How did you end up? Obviously, you're an LMFT. There's so many different topics you cover, but this is something

you specialize in. Why narcissism?

Yeah, well, you know, as a therapist and as a relationship expert therapist, a lot of people come to me to talk about their relationships.

And so many times I hear stories about people getting manipulated, people frustrated with the dating scene, narcissistic people are, you know, not just on dating apps, but they're in your family.

They're at work. They're everywhere. And I found myself helping people deal with this issue

pretty well. I grew up with a narcissistic family member. So I have, you know, a personal background with it. Then I sort of

specialized in it in my training and education. And then it just kind of like came into my practice because

this is something I understood so well and loved to help people with. So, yeah, this is this is the biggest scope of what I do is help people sort out

their toxic relationships. Do you share with clients who are dealing with somebody, whether

it's in a relationship or a family or friendship, who is a narcissist. You share that

with them, that, like, you grew up with a narcissistic family member so you can kind of understand

what they're going through. Because I always try and, like, relate back to what my listeners

are experiencing or what my dating coaching clients are going through. But I also never want to,

like, discount their experience by being like, I get it.
