The Hello and welcome back to Sociology 101. I actually played my closer rather than my

opener. I pushed on the wrong button there, but I like that closer anyway, so I'm glad that

you got to watch it. Welcome to Sociology 101. Today we're going to be answering the question,

is Ed Lytton, who is the newest

Southern Baptist Convention President? Is he a Calvinist? Now, why have I titled this, that,

why am I answering this question? Because I must have gotten over a dozen, at least, maybe two

dozen messages once Ed Lytton was elected as the SBC president asking me,

what is he? I don't know. I don't know Ed Litton. I didn't know Mike Stone. Of course, we know

Al Moller because we've confronted some of his perspectives because we know he is a very

consistent five-point Calvinist and very outspoken about that.

Ed Lytton is a faithful God-honoring pastor of Redemption Church.

And if you're a part of Redemption Church, you happen to be watching this because you see your

pastor's name on YouTube.

You should continue to support and love your pastor because he's a good man and he's a good

pastor.

And I think he's going to be a good president. Much like what I said about J.D. Greer when he was

elected, I am going to say about Ed. Ed Lytton has a lot of great qualities from what I've seen,

the little bit of research I've done in order to find out a little bit more about his particular

beliefs. I think that he is, and I think he would probably like this.

I think this would probably be a compliment for him,

though some of you who are watching in the sign chat,
