checking in on those cashers checking in like i wouldn't say

historically if it's just last year uh but just talking about uh you know does it seem to be worth

it what are what are the best teams do last year uh in did they go after the big premier

closers we'll talk about that a little bit more and just our draft references we'll start

off though with news and there's copious amounts of news fred welcome how are you my friend uh i'm good

i don't have a lot of edwin diaz shares so uh i do have one so so i'm not perfect uh we were just

saying off air that we could talk we could turn this into a closers episode but there's too of those already. So there'll be some closers in the news and then some catchers later on. Let's just start with the Diaz news because that is huge. It's massive. He is out until the All Star break, maybe longer. Who knows? He's going to have a procedure done on his elbow, loose bodies. I feel like it's very

similar to the Hunter Green situation in terms of like the type of injury, the type of time span,

maybe a little shorter considering that Green is going to was missing 12 to 14 weeks. It doesn't

sound like Diaz will miss that much necessarily, but it might be. It still might be. And, you know, there were signs that something was wrong. We didn't think it would be this wrong. But here we are. He pitched over the weekend and went poorly. That's where they double checked and found those loose bodies and did the procedure. And I'm not surprised that the Dodgers said, let's just take care of this right away. I think that's the smart thing of them to do as a franchise. It just hurts us. Yeah. I mean, what do we always say about the Dodgers said let's just take care of this right away i think that's the smart thing of them to do as a franchise just hurts us yeah i mean what do we always say about the dodgers they only care about October right they know they're going to be in october and they only care about October so you know i i heard some people saying you know what a terrible signing edwin dyes terrible signing well i guess for so far for sure and if he was signed to this contract by the

reds it would be or a lot of teams it would be a big problem but for the dodgers they'll

probably be fine and then the bottom line is like in September does he look good and in October

does he look great and they don't care about what we're going to go through in fantasy. And, you know, I guess the two big questions for us, is Tanner Scott the most likely

replacement for Diaz?

And if so, are we thinking he gets like all the saves, most of the saves, half the saves.

Is he the only Dodger to be worth picking up?

Is Alex Vessia worth picking up?

And then on Diaz, like, I think there's a decent argument that he should be dropped
