I am delighted to be joined today by Norman Ornstein, who is Emeritus Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute and a contributing editor for the Atlantic, as well as co-host with Dr. Kavita Patel of the podcast Words Matter.

Words do matter, and on that subject we will be talking about a question that has been

on lots of people's lips this year. Is Donald Trump going to be a dictator in his second term?

Norman, I think I'll just start by asking you, do you think Donald Trump is going to be

a dictator in his second term? Trump has made that very clear now, and we've seen this in the past from the people who

we know would be his closest advisors if he won another term. That includes Stephen Miller,

who was his closest advisor when it came to his virulently anti-immigrant stance, and Steve Bannon,

who was a Trump whisperer for a long time, talking about how if Trump won a second term,

just to pick one area, that he would move to deport all of those undocumented people that he calls

illegals and says are not civilians, rounding them up using the military and red state national

guards, putting them in detention camps, concentration camps in effect, until they could all be deported. That didn't come

directly from Trump until this week when a set of lengthy interviews on what he would do in a

second term by Time Magazine correspondent Eric Cordeliza, he made that clear. And he made

other things clear, including that
