You guys, this is our first podcast episode and I'm feeling so good about it.

I am loving the name.

Yes.

I love the name so D. Influenced can mean like a lot of different things, especially online.

But for me, what D. Influenced means is I'm kind of trying to

De-Influenced myself as an influencer.

You know, I've been doing this for 10 years and as much as I hate whenever, like my mom's like,

Oh, my daughter is an influencer.

Like, it's so cringey whenever she says that.

I wanted a platform where I could kind of de-influenced myself kind of like,

I don't know, take it back and just figure out like, who is Danny Austin again outside of this world on social media?

I also feel like sometimes like there's a lot of fear mungering.

Like, I feel like a lot of people are so scared to be themselves on social because like,

you're going to get canceled and you're going to say something wrong.

It's just like not a long enough format to actually have opinions about something.

And so I love this podcast because I feel like I can be me.
