And today's video in my quest to put out a video about every running back in the NFL before the season starts.

Today's video is a redraft-centric, 20-22-centric breakdown of Dalvin Cook's potential, his upside, his outlook

in this new offense with Kevin O'Connell coming over from the Los Angeles Rams staff.

Let's get into it.

In the last four years, on a points per game basis in full PPR, Dalvin Cook has finished

9th in 2021, 2nd in 2020, 2nd in 2019, and 18th in 2018.

And he's hovered right around, you know, 18, 22, 19 carries a game for those seasons.

I mean, 2018 and 2019, he's like four and a half targets per game.

The last two years, he's been at 3.9 and 3.8.

Those have kind of been, you know, the workload that he had.

But last year, dipping down to RB9 after, you know, a couple of RB2 finishes.

And really that came from a, you know, he was really good on a per touch basis as a runner,

still really effective there.

He caught a lower percentage of his passes than he typically has.

He sits at right around like 80% catch rate for his career.

Last year, he caught just under 70% of his passes. So that affected him a little bit. But the biggest thing that affected Dalvin Cook's fantasy finish last season was his touchdown

rate, where in 2017, his touchdown rate was 2.7%, 2018, 1.5%.

Then 2019, 5.2 and 2020, 5.1%. He had a career 4.3% touchdown rate going into last season when in 2021, he scored touchdowns at a 2.4% rate. He only had 6 on the season. And that caused his dominator rating to dip below the 25% mark for the first time in at least three years.

In 2020, his dominator rating was 35%.

2019 his dominator rating was 33%.
