Summary

Here's all I want to know. What is Critical Race Theory and is it biblical? We'll answer both questions today with special guest Neil Shenvi. I agree that racism is a serious problem in our lives today. A very serious problem. But real problems can sometimes lead us to bad solutions. The solutions provided by Critical Race Theory (and concepts of "whiteness", "systems of oppression", "internalized oppression", the redefining of "racism" etc.) are actually solutions that involve more racism. It is injustice in response to injustice. It's unbalanced scales in response to unbalanced scales. It's prejudice in response to prejudice. A biblical Christian should recognize that because racism, partiality and injustice are serious issues, we can not embrace Critical Race Theory. This isn't about taking political sides or pleasing crowds, it's about being biblical and pleasing God. 0:36.4	because in my view the things that are going on in our culture dealing with racism
0:40.4	and injustice they're leveraging like a real serious problem a
0:43.9	genuine problem a problem we have to we have to look at honestly we if we deny it we just
0:48.1	have a plank in our eye but I think it's a distorted understanding of the problem and solutions in our in our
0:56.1	culture in our policies like our laws but but even more harmful in our the way we
1:01.5	interact with each other as humans.
1:03.2	The solutions are actually causing more problems in my opinion.
