What does it mean to actually be a conservative and has the term outlived its usefulness?

Because being a conservative 10 years ago was just kind of a response to Republicans being too moderate, right?

You'd run into a Republican or somebody that, you know, claimed to share our values and was instead a rhino.

And so you distinguished, oh, well, they're just a Republican.

I'm a conservative Republican.

But now the term conservative itself almost seems too moderate for the times that we're living in.

And so the real question is, what is conservatism?

What does it actually mean in a historical narrative or tradition? What

does it mean in an American tradition? And does it accurately describe people on the right? Or is it

potentially too constrictive? And do we have to actually look at different terms that explain exactly

what we are, what we want, and our broader

opposition to woke. We're going to be discussing all of that and more on this episode of making
