Do you think college is worth it for aspiring entrepreneurs?

I went to college. I went to law school. I had a mom who was a second grade teacher who

worked two jobs and the fetus wasn't fully developed until after graduate school. In fact,

you made me take the bar even though I didn't want to be a lawyer. The way that I feel about

college is that the traditional college education will be changing. It always has, but now changing

rapidly because more online courses, micro courses, more access to YouTube as a content provider.

There's so much content out there. My feeling though about college is if you can afford to go,

meaning if your parents are paying for it, you get a scholarship to go or it's just really cheap

to go inexpensive, why not? If you're not going to invest in yourself, what are you ever going to

invest in? The social aspect of college is extraordinary. The unique ability to have that much

fun and surround yourself with people to share and learn in that atmosphere is an extraordinary

opportunity that 0.1% of the people on earth get to experience college. If you can afford it,

I would not suggest anyone going to deep, deep debt to go to college is not worth it,

but if you can facilitate an affordable way to get educated and enjoy yourself, I'll literally

send my kids, you know, I'm blessed because I got scholarships to college or I couldn't go on

and I'm blessed because I can afford to send my kids to college and I don't care what they learn

because I just want them to have the experience, the social experience, the sharing experience,

the cultural experience, they can learn way more just online. So if your objective is just to learn

about a subject, go online, find a mentor way better, but college as it experience is one,

if you don't have to go into major debt, do it.
