Hello guys I am your host Troy Sterling and welcome back to another episode of Manifest with Tori Sterling.

Today I'm going to be doing an episode that I've had written down in my notes for a really long time like when I was just

thinking of doing a podcast and I wanted to and I was thinking of ideas this was one of

the top ideas that I had because I get asked about it all the time and it is college. And I was always

you know gonna want to do this and I want to bring on someone else that has the

opposite viewpoints if I do and I kind of just want to have an open discussion and

chat about it.

But it's something that I've always been a little hesitant to do just because everyone has

their own opinions as you should and I'm not saying your opinion is wrong and I'm not

saying my opinion is right. I think it's wonderful that we all have different viewpoints and opinions and

I kind of just want to open a discussion because I'm interested in hearing everyone's side of the story.

So I just want to remind you that I'm not attacking anyone or I'm not saying that your

opinions wrong or my opinions right, like nothing like that.

It's sort of just like a discussion and I'm interested in your

thoughts. But what really sparked this lately was the Gangster Capitalism podcast and if you guys haven't listened to it highly recommend and it's all

about the college admissions scandal and I I was listening to it and I'm on the

fifth episode I think there's like one more to be released if it's not been released already.

And the last episode really kind of sparked my mind and pretty much what it was saying was that college has become more for the lower class,

like very poor people that are, you know, are the success story of their family which is wonderful and then

also the super wealthy people that can kind of buy their way into schools and it's

very like pristine for them to go to these amazing colleges and it's kind of

saying how the middle class has been sort of pushed
