Music All right, everybody, welcome back to episode seven of the Gluckcast.

We are here on a Cup series off week, but there's still some racing to be done at Rockingham Speedway this week.

So we're here with another episode.

And on the first part of today's show, we're going to be talking

about a man named Garrett Mitchell, better known as Cletus McFarland.

Now, in fact, he said this week, I asked him, he prefers to go by Cletus because it makes it

easier.

It helps avoid confusion, even though obviously his given name is Garrett.

Now, maybe you already know plenty about

Cletus. Maybe you're Cletus fans right here. Maybe you've watched his videos for years. You love

his content. Maybe you're like me. You hadn't really caught wind of him until he started doing

ARCA last year. He had that viral interview with Caitlin Vinci after his ARCA start at Daytona, the bald eagle stuff. Everybody's like, wow, this guy is really interesting.

Maybe you didn't know about him, though, until his friendship with Greg Biffle. You obviously

know that Greg Biffle and Greg Biffle's family were on their way down to visit Cletus when the

plane crashed.

Cletus gave a eulogy at Biffel's Memorial Service.

They had been really close friends in a short amount of time.

But still, maybe there's a possibility you didn't connect that.

You hadn't heard of him at all until he wrecked on lap six of his truck series debut in February,

Daytona, and sparked a debate about the driver approval process.
