Hello, my friends, and welcome back at this time for us to get our minds aligned with the

truth of God for this day.

That's what the morning mindset is here to do.

We are trying to understand what God says to us through the Scripture, align our minds

with that so that we can be thinking His thoughts as we go into the day, because as we think

His thoughts will be able better to live out what He would have us do.

In terms of truth, in terms of the words we speak, in terms of the way we relate with

other people.

I hope you're ready to get your mind aligned.

All right, today we are going to dig in to Acts chapter 2.

We are toward the end of the chapter, and we're seeing what happened among the believers

in Jesus Christ right after the Holy Spirit came upon them, right after many people came

to salvation in Jesus after His resurrection.

And we're looking, in particular, at verses 43 through 45 today, and it says, awe came

upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles, and

all who believed were together, and all things in common, and they were selling their possessions

and belongings, and distributing the proceeds to all as any had need.

Now let's stop and think about this for a moment.

In my years as a Christian, I became a believer in Jesus Christ when I was five years old,

and this year by God's grace I turned 54 years old.

So that was quite a long time ago, and in all that time I've heard a lot of things said
