It's the end of another grueling week for everyone in the political sphere as, you know, bad feeling

So you join us. It's me, Miranda Green, and Tim Montgomery.

And the other members of Not Another One are, I would say AWOL, but they're not really AWOL. We know that they have good reasons not to be here with us. So we thought we'd take the opportunity to just to have a nice old chinwag ourselves, didn't we, Tim?

Yeah, it's been, I think the last time we were together just a two of us was in the summer.

A lot has happened since then. So true. So true. But then there is a problem, isn't there, at the moment, in the sense that so much happens in every 48-hour period that it's quite

disorienting. And, you know, a colleague who's just come back to the Financial Times where I work from

maternity leave, you know, we were actually trying to sort of remember what had happened

while she was away.

And it is just a terrible blur of, you know, McMillan's events, events, events, isn't it?

Yeah.

And, you know, you can, there is a level in which I slightly sympathise with the, with the

poles themselves, because it's just a blizzard and a tsunami and every weather

metaphor you want to choose.

Yeah.

Don't you think?

It's definitely a blizzard, but I sort of take, I don't know whether this is how you feel.

You're probably giving your FT role not so able to benefit from this.

But because so much of my focus now is on reform, I quite like it when Labour's in the news

because I can almost sit back and watch, whereas if it's a sort of reform story,
