So, anyway, we are going to start with some questions.

These questions are sparked by breakpoint commentary, short courses, articles, columns that we've had at the Colson Center.

This is kind of a fun one. We've been having a lot of questions come to us,

specifically related to this issue of adoption and especially single parent adoption. This month, we're

running a special for Katie Faust's book that talks a little bit about them before us and

the role that parents play, not even parents, but moms and dads play in the life of children.

And we've had some questions on this topic. And the first question that we have today

talks about some ways that we've answered this question this last week,

talking about the need for moms and dads.

And the first questioner asked, I've heard John say a few times that data says that children do better

when they have both a mom and a dad, which I agree in theory, the questioner says, but I've been trying to

find some research that backs that up. I've had a hard time finding some of the data. Can you help me
