And I'm DJ. We're back. We're still talking about commander 2018. We can't stop talking about commander 2018.

Can't stop talking about it. I hope you all have enjoyed all the bonus episodes out there. Today we've got an interesting topic.

So the set's been a little bit polarizing. Definitely. Yeah a lot of, I mean there's been a decent amount of negativity out there.

Usually everyone's just universally excited for it and this time there seems to be some people up at arms.

I mean to the point where a lot of people were upset that we weren't more negative about it.

We don't usually get into sort of what I would call the punditry side of magic very much on this show.

It's not really what we're normally here to do, but you know the commander product is for obviously the commander format.

It's the one thing we get every year that's like for us. You know they come out with a bunch of sets, but that's not all for us.

And so we thought today we would discuss you know a question which is is 18 a success or a failure.

And then you know how do we measure the quality of the commander sets and what is it the commander players want from a need from the commander products and that they can hope for moving forward into the future.

Yeah it's sort of evaluating this whole thing as one entity. Before we were breaking down decks and looking at specific cards.

Exactly. Yeah, but now we kind of take a step back and see well did they do a good job or not.
