How much does it hurt the Lions organization? Again, I'm going to let you go first. I think my stance is pretty damn well known.

So, like, you have to do the obligatory, like he resuscitated, he drafted well, he's found all.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Now you are at the

big boy table and you are competing with big boys and they are willing to mortgage their future

and the lions are playing for sustained success. So you're going to always be a step behind other people

who are willing to do things you aren't willing to do.

Correct. If you want what you've never had, do what you've never done. And for Holmes,

it's simple. If this is about selling season tickets and just being good-ish, then that's not going

to be the same as what your opponents are doing. It doesn't mean you can't still get home and get it

done. But yeah, Jim, I think this

offseason, they have to take a serious look in the mirror. And it's going to have some difficult conversations, no matter what happens. Short of them making a Super Bowl or winning it, it's going to be, okay, we're going to retool. This started last year where they felt like we have everything we need here. We're fully insulated. We don't need others help. And we're just going to do it our way. Injuries took it away from us. That has clearly been a misstep when you compound it with losing your coordinators. Now look, this is where Dan Campbell's got to take some heat for the John Morton disaster. We're going to give him credit for Kelvin Shepard, and I'm good with Shep.

I like what he's done, and he's a rising star. You're going to lose him soon enough. John Morton was a debacle. You didn't make it. The leaves didn't turn before you did pants them. I mean, that's crazy. Yeah, I think you said something great in there, too, like, okay, we were talking about
